Miss Honey is revealed to live in a tiny cottage where she could escape from her horrible Aunt Trunchebull. I picture it as small but tidy and kind of hidden behind trees on the edge of town. She has some flowers surrounding it, but that's her only real luxury.
She can't afford furniture so I picture the interior being a mattress on the floor and whatever small things she managed to escape her aunt with, and maybe some small gifts from her students
